Chicago Fashion Week 2013

Hello everyone! This week my family and I went to fashion week in Chicago for the first time. It was simply wonderful. We only got to go on Wednesday (we are very busy people!) but nevertheless, it was really amazing. All of the designers whose creations we saw on Wednesday were very talented and so were the models.

Now, I know that this is a nail art blog, not a fashion blog, and so, in case you were wondering, I did do my nails for the event. I wore Zoya's Veruschka on my fingernails. It's a deep, matte green color that reminds me of the forest. It's a really fall-like green and probably the prettiest green that I have. ( I will do a separate blog post featuring my nails.). Sadly though, I don't know what was worn at the fashion show. I wasn't sitting that close

Now, back to the subject. I found my experience at fashion week to be very inspiring. I was thinking of trying to create a nail art design based off of the trends that I noticed or based off of a particular outfit? Please tell me what you think of that idea. As we were sitting really close, we were able to capture some pretty good pictures (which I have placed underneath this text). I hope that you all enjoyed this post and all of the pictures in it.
