In remembrance of 2011

So, yesterday I showed you guys my one nail polish that I bought, and I told you that I would do something with it. Well I did, and I finished around 1:00am. I didn't necessarily do anything fancy, I just did something almost in remembrance of the year. I didn't have time to do the other hand, but I want it to celebrate 2012. So, here is the picture of what I did.

At Sephora today, I bought nail polish. I only got one, but I should have bought more. :( this one is named new years red- solution. It's like a reddish-pink color, and it's really pretty. I put up a picture but you might not be able to see the color very well. But later today, ( Lord willing ) I will do something with it and post it. ;)

Christmas nails

So, on Christmas yesterday, my sister bought me nail polish, and stuff. I was so happy that I had to try it out. How did I do?

Christmas presents

So, for Christmas one of my friends asked me to make her a crocheted hat. It took me a little while, but I finally finished, and I made her mom one too. They're matching. :)

I changed my name!

So, as you can see, I have changed my name to The Girlish Geek. Do you like it? It's more like me. but anyways, I don't believe that I have posted my candy canes. :) I will do it when I get a hold of my Ipod. :)

So.... I decided to do lollipops. I didn't have time yesterday, so I did them today. I did my best without a YouTube tutorial, but there were still flaws. I hope that it is okay though.

It was my sister's birthday on Monday, but my dad had a photo shoot in Peoria so we couldn't celebrate it. We did yesterday though! Here are all of the things I bought yesterday.

New theme!

Finally!!!! I thought that I had this blog for absolutely no reason! (well, in truth I did.) But now I don't! I thought up something different now!(kinda) My sister won't be mad because the name of my blog is like hers!
Anyways, I always seem to feel bad about the way that I dress. I know that I shouldn't, because I have my own style. I shouldn't let anyone discourage me about it. But I still do! So, I decided finally that it doesn't really matter. I won't ever look or be like someone in a magazine. So I am not going to try to follow trends anymore. (what's the point?) I am now going to set them! :) And I strongly advise you to do the same!
